BTS: The Process of Making Our Shibori Fabric

A little sneak peak of the process of making hand-dyed shirbori.  We source our fabrics directly from the makers and are honored to work with them.

SHIBORI is a Japanese textile finishing technique which, even though it can look back on a tradition spanning centuries at the island state, is virtually unknown in the Western world. Master Hiroshi Murase,  is practicing this craftwork in the 4th Generation.

O'Harrow

At O’Harrow Clothiers, we believe that a piece of fabric can carry one’s legacy. Our shirts and pocket squares are crafted with the intention of being cherished and passed down through generations, becoming heirlooms for grandsons and granddaughters alike. Whether it’s the meticulous stitching on a pocket square or the carefully sewn button of a shirt, each piece is made by hand with care. As a proud California-based company, we are committed to upholding the tradition of American craftsmanship. Our mission is simple: to create timeless clothing and accessories that tell a story and improve with every wear.
